The Verdon Regional Nature Park
In Haute-Provence, the Parc du Verdon welcomes on its territory landscapes of an astonishing variety with mountains, hills, vertiginous gorges, forests and agricultural valleys. The Geological Reserve of Haute-Provence
Haute-Provence is rich in an exceptional geological past. The ammonite slab of Digne, the mermaid fossils of Taulanne or the ichthyosaur fossils of La Robine bear witness to a time when the region was located at the bottom of the ocean, before the Alps pushed it up.
