The Luberon Regional Nature Park
Taking advantage of the influence of the Alps and the Mediterranean, the Luberon Regional Natural Park offers a wide variety of landscapes, between Pays d’Apt, Pays de Forcalquier, Lure mountain, Calavon valley, Vaucluse mounts, Durance valley… Walking in the Park, you can admire a rich fauna of 270 different species of vertebrates. Ornithology enthusiasts can spot the Egyptian vulture, a very rare and endangered species. Cycling lovers can enjoy the Luberon on the natural side by taking the Green Way of Calavon. From Robion to Castellet, this 37-kilometre-long cycle path passes through the heart of remarkable natural sites. The Luberon is also known for its numerous perched villages, several of which can be visited near Saint-Martin-les-Eaux.
