The Luberon Regional Nature Park
Between the Vaucluse and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the Luberon seduces is renowned for its diversity of landscapes, between the Montagne de Lure, the Pays d’Apt and Forcalquier, the Calavon valley, the Vaucluse mountains, the Durance valley… During your hikes, you will be able to meet more than 270 different species of vertebrates. Ornithology enthusiasts can spot the Jean-le-Blanc circaète, the Egyptian vulture, the kestrel or Bonelli’s eagle. On the nature side, the Luberon can also be discovered by following the Voie Verte du Calavon. From Robion to Castellet, this 37-kilometre long cycle path has taken over an old railway line. Among the must-see visits, don’t miss the villages of Ansouis, Ménerbes, Gordes, Lourmarin and Roussillon, which all belong to the most beautiful villages in France.
