Between sun and mountains, the Parc des Préalpes d’Azur offers a surprising variety of territories with mountains, hills, wild canyons, forests and agricultural valleys. Under the sun of the Préalpes d’Azur more than 2000 plant species grow, including 65 protected species and 40 species that are found nowhere else. Many animals also live in the Préalpes of Azur: birds, reptiles and amphibians. The Park was designed to welcome outdoor activities lovers, while ensuring the protection of the ecosystems . Hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, canyoning, paragliding, climbing, via ferrata, tree climbing… Men have occupied these lands for thousands of years and have handed down to us a rich architectural heritage: historical landmarks, fountains, wells, wash houses, medieval castles, oppidums… Agropastoralism is very active thanks to the work of passionate producers.
