La Colmiane ski resort
Valdeblore is also home to a mountain resort. In winter, you can ski down the slopes of La Colmiane. Downhill skiers will enjoy the 16 slopes of the ski area, while thrill-seekers will dare to take the 2,663-metre-long zip line. La Colmiane also hosts ski touring and snowshoeing itineraries, and offers a joëring ski activity: glide on the snow, harness a horse!
Mercantour summits and valleys
At the top of the Gélas, which is over 3000 meters high, the Côte d’Azur is only fifty kilometers away as the crow flies! The Parc du Mercantour stretches between the departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes: Tinée, Verdon, Var-Cians, Ubaye, Vésubie, Roya-Bébéra. The Park has been designed to welcome lovers of nature activities, while ensuring the preservation of ecosystems. The Park lends itself well to walking. You can also discover the routes of the Park by bike, learn to climb, ride horses in the magical landscapes of the Mercantour… In winter, abundant snow covers the Mercantour’s landscapes, making skiers happy. The large ski areas and village resorts offer many activities: downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, dog sledding, snowmobiling, paragliding on skis… The built heritage also appeals to vacationers.
