Les Alpilles

Evoking an island between the Rhone and Durance valleys, the Alpilles massif is appreciated for its landscapes and remarkable biodiversity. Between wetlands and scrubland, men occupy this territory of 30 kilometers long and more than 10 kilometers wide. The Alpilles are ideal for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.

The authentic villages, which for a long time have been devoted to the production of olive oil and wine, have become popular tourist destinations. Ancient town of Glanum, castle of Les Baux, castle of Tarascon, art galleries of Saint-Rémy Musée Urgonia, many cultural destinations are proposed to you in the Alpilles.

Museums and Monuments near Mouriès

You can visit the Château des Baux-de-Provence, a former medieval fortress built on a rocky outcrop. Also in the village of Les Baux de Provence, you can explore the Carrières des Lumières, which host audiovisual light and sound shows on various themes.
