The legendary passes of the Southern French Alps
In the Southern French Alps you will find passes at altitudes of more than 2000 meters, which are a challenge for cyclists. Among the legendary passes are the Col du Galibier, the Col de l’Izoard (2361 meters) in Queyras, the Col du Lautaret, the Col Agnel in the Hautes-Alpes department, the Col de la Lombarde, the Col des Champs (2089 meters) and the Col de Vars.
The Écrins National Park
Culminating at 4102 meters above sea level, the Écrins National Park brings together the variety and biodiversity of the Alps.
