The peaks that dominate the Champsaur offer a playground for lovers of hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking, but also winter sports. Saint-Firmin is situated at the entrance to the Valgaudemar valley, whose peaks beyond the Gioberney chalet exceed 3000 meters in altitude.

The Écrins National Park

Pastures and meadows, beech and coniferous forests, mountain pastures, glaciers, the Écrinsréunit National Park brings together the variety and biodiversity of the alpine landscapes in its catchment area. Nature, always present, makes it possible to multiply activities: walking, cycling, via ferrata, canyoning, kayak descent, mountaineering in summer, but also downhill skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing in winter. The terroir is in the image of the territory, authentic, simple and generous: boiled bread, cold cuts, pies…
