What to do in Le Lavandou when it rains?

Your holidays in the sunny Var can also include rainy days! What if the rain offered you the chance to experience an unforgettable day in Lavandou? We suggest a selection of monuments and museums to visit. You want to multiply the activities? You can also treat yourself to a shopping session, attend a play, have lunch or dinner in a restaurant, share an escape game… The choice is yours! You will find a vast choice of activities when it rains in Le Lavandou, to share as a couple, with your friends or with your children.

Near the Tourist Office, the Saint-Louis Church presents beautiful frescoes and stained glass windows, and offers you a visit sheltered from the rain.

Currently under renovation, the Arts and History museum will welcome you back in a restored setting at the end of 2022 in Bormes-les-Mimosas. It has an exceptional collection of sculptures and paintings dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.

You can also make the most of a rainy day to leave Le Lavandou for a few hours and go to Saint-Tropez. The Annonciade museum, the Gendarmerie museum, the many shops, art galleries and designer workshops offer activities suitable for a rainy day. They are all open to the public.
