In the Vaucluse, the village of Grambois awaits you in the middle of preserved landscapes.

Looking for a countryside destination?  Here, forget the noise of your daily life. The omnipresent nature is at the heart of the attractiveness of this village. There are numerous hiking trails in the village: unevenness, length, you will find itineraries adapted to all levels. in the Vaucluse, outdoor activities are numerous: horse riding, golf, tree climbing, climbing, paragliding…

Fish caught in the Mediterranean, tapenade, olive oil, fougasses, ratatouille, gardianne de baureau, goat’s cheese or tomes des Alpes, calissons, navettes or honey sweets… The attractiveness of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is also based on a gastronomy of a rare richness. You can also discover in the region various local markets where the stalls make you discover the best of the local soil. A large market is held in La Tour d’Aigues on Tuesday mornings throughout the year.

While travelling through the roads of the Luberon, you will find various treasures: churches, calvaries, houses of character, castles or manors… The hilltop village of Grambois has an ancient charm, and has been used as a backdrop for several films.

Grambois: the Luberon between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea

At the crossroads of Provence, the Alps and the Mediterranean, the Luberon offers a great variety of landscapes, with several facets composed by the Durance valley in the south, and the Calavon valley in the north. During your hikes, you will be able to meet a little less than 300 different species of vertebrates (mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish…). Ornithology enthusiasts can observe Bonelli’s eagle, a very rare species of bird of prey.

You can discover the Luberon on foot, by bike or by car. From Grambois, take the paths of the Park, to discover the landscapes and soils that characterize it. The villages of the Luberon are very touristic. Some of them belong to the very select club of the most beautiful villages of France: Lourmarin, Gordes, Ménerbes and Roussillon, Ansouis.

In the footsteps of Marcel Pagnol

The village of Grambois has been used as a setting for several films about the world of Marcel Pagnol.

Scenes from the village of La Treille were shot in Grambois for the films La Gloire de mon Père, Le Château de ma Mère and Le temps des secrets.
