Located in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the heart of the Alpes-Maritimes, Parc Alpha is an iconic site dedicated to the wolf, whose return to the Mercantour has left an indelible mark on the history of wildlife in France. Designed as a place for discovery and education, it offers a deeper understanding of this fascinating animal through the observation of several packs roaming vast natural areas. Nestled between 1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level, the park offers an exceptional mountain setting where nature and education come together. Throughout the visit, guests walk along trails dotted with observation points, interpretive areas, and educational activities that help them learn more about the wolf’s way of life, its habitat, and its role in maintaining ecosystem balance.
