Description
Aboard the ship “Croix du Sud V,” set sail from Sanary-sur-Mer to encounter dolphins and marine wildlife in general.
It is on the edge of the large marine pits, on the border of the Pelagos Sanctuary, that we can observe the blue and white dolphin, the bottlenose dolphin, the Risso's dolphin, and the long-finned pilot whale.
Depending on the encounters we have and the time remaining, we will try to reach the more distant whale areas. These, as well as sperm whales, are regularly observed during this type of cruise.
Accompanied by naturalists and photographers from “Découverte du Vivant,” we will offer a lecture on board, as well as microphone presentations, covering biological concepts related to all the species encountered during the trip. The Croix du Sud V holds the “High Quality Whale Watching” label, a guarantee of sustainable and respectful whale watching.
During each cruise, a photo report is provided free of charge by the naturalists from Découverte du Vivant.
IMPORTANT: as sea conditions vary each time, return times are given as a guide only.
The sea cruise is accessible to people with the following disabilities: visual, hearing, mental. For people with reduced mobility, the boat can accommodate two classic wheelchairs (no motorized wheelchairs), knowing that the toilets are not accessible with the wheelchair because they are too narrow.
