An experience combining fly fishing in the mountains with hiking, where the magic of camping in the wild enhances the adventure, leaving you with unforgettable memories.
Water Hiking and Fishing
A guaranteed change of scenery, the present moment brought into its own…
In our mountain valleys, certain glens and their tributaries can only be reached on foot, after a few hours’ walk. It is through this effort that one reaches superb torrents with crystal-clear waters, unspoilt by fishing pressure, where only a few connoisseurs – sometimes no one at all – venture.
Fly fishing takes on a very special dimension here: wild fish with splendid colours, which can often be fished on sight, or which won’t hesitate to take your dry fly during a beautiful drift.
Mountain Lakes
Head for the heights and experience fly fishing like nowhere else!
In our Alpine region, the lake season generally begins on the first day of summer.
I prefer to fish here either at the very start of the season or right at the end, when autumn begins to paint the vegetation in flamboyant colours and the lakes regain their characteristic tranquillity and peace.
An ideal experience for contemplative souls, lovers of silence and wide open spaces, those who favour a discreet approach when the fishing becomes technical, and finally, those who love long double-haul casts to let the line run out!
Packrafting/Rafting & Fishing
A Unique Adventure in France…
Walking along a river is an experience in itself, but gliding along the water – just like the trout – is something else entirely! The number of magnificent ‘spots’ you discover during a descent is quite simply exceptional.
For this adventure, the rivers on offer are the Tinée, the Ubaye and the Gorges de Daluis.
This activity is aimed at those who already know how to fish (though this isn’t essential), wish to learn how to paddle safely, experience the magic of a camp-out and discover the full potential of the packraft: an ultra-light inflatable kayak, as compact as a sleeping bag, offering true independence once the adventure is over.
