Description

Learn about the life cycle of the grapevine and the estate’s eco-friendly practices!
We offer a detailed tour that begins in the vineyard, where we’ll discuss the life cycle of the vine and the estate’s eco-friendly practices. You’ll have the pleasure of discovering our various soil types and grape varieties as you walk through our vineyard. This will give you an understanding of the winemaker’s work throughout the year. You’ll learn about the unique history of Château de Sannes, our Luberon appellation, and what sets us apart. During the tour, you’ll have the pleasure of admiring the surrounding landscapes and villages, notably Ansouis, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Next, we’ll invite you into our cellar and wine-making room so you can learn about the various winemaking techniques and the work of our cellar master. Finally, you’ll conclude with a tasting, which will introduce you to the wines of Château de Sannes and allow you to fully experience our terroir. Please note: During the grape harvest (September and October), the cellar is not accessible from the inside, but you can view it from the boutique’s balcony. From tastings of rare vintages to a chic picnic among our lavender fields or at the mill, along with themed workshops centered on our products, each option is designed to offer you unique and memorable moments. Discover the full potential of our estate and let yourself be surprised. These complementary activities will allow you to fully savor our terroir and uncover the secrets of our exceptional products. Each option can be added to your tour. Option 1: “Castini” Tasting – Exclusive Cuvée Reserve your spot for this unique workshop and immerse yourself in the elegance and sophistication of these exclusive wines. Duration: 30 minutes Price: €10 per person Option 2: Olive Oil Tasting – Aglandau Produced on the estate’s sun-drenched lands, using olives that are tended with the utmost care. Hand-picked and then cold-pressed to preserve and extract the very best of our terroir. Our oil stands out for its notes of apple and almond. On the palate, you’ll find fresh almond and hints of green pepper. A subtle balance that is both intense and fruity. Duration: 15 minutes Price: €5 per person Option 3: Appetizer Platters—Local Products* We invite you to continue your Luberon tasting experience with fresh, local products on a shared appetizer platter. Charcuterie, cheese, and fresh seasonal fruit, accompanied by a glass of wine of your choice from the “1603” or “Prestige” range (+€2).
