To echo the "Ossip Zadkine" exhibition, Arles' "Nuit de la Poésie" organizes,
a musical reading created by actor Olivier Pauls, accompanied by composer and performer Bruno Grégoire. Thanks to Olivier Pauls' lively reading and Bruno Grégoire's "sound decors", the show plunges us into the effervescence of the Montparnasse district, the beating heart of the early 20th-century art scene, where the encounter between the artists of the time and the artists of the time took place.
century, where sculptor Ossip Zadkine and poet Blaise Cendrars met.
The artists also evoke memories of Zadkine's youth, marked by his many travels and the 14-18 war, the subject of a famous series of eauxfortes presented in the exhibition, which will be visited following the show.
