Christophe, an independent rafting guide on the valley floor in summer and a first-aid rescuer on the summits in winter, will welcome you for unforgettable emotions.

In this remote valley deep in the Southern Alps flows the Ubaye, one of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. It is to this magnificent playground that we take you to discover not only the river but also its unspoilt natural surroundings. Whether you’re a family with children aged 6 and over or thrill-seekers, we adapt to your level and your preferences. We take only one boat per trip to ensure a high-quality, personalised experience. If you’re a group of more than 7 people, we’ll add one or more boats depending on the number of people. With us, it’s not just a rafting trip: we take the time to enjoy the surroundings, discover nature together, spend time in the water and even eat with our feet in the water. We offer an outing with complimentary breakfast: a cup of coffee, roasted in Barcelonnette. A croissant and a pain au chocolat, made in the valley. A gingerbread biscuit, made with local honey and handmade by the producer, and a hot chocolate to round it all off. Alternatively, pack your best picnic: salad, sandwiches, or whatever takes your fancy for the midday break. The trip lasts 4 hours and we really take the time to enjoy it to the full. We have three routes to choose from: ● An introductory route, suitable for children aged 6 and over, provided they can swim. This route is ideal for a first-time experience: you’ll learn how to use a paddle and feel at ease in the boat. You’ll discover a magnificent landscape in the heart of the valley, with a few rapids for a gentle introduction. ● A classic route, for ages 10 and over. Once you’ve mastered the basics of rafting, it’s time for some action! This route takes you through some beautiful rapids for a real thrill, whilst still being fun. The gorges at the end of the route are well worth a visit. ● A challenging route, for ages 16 and over. Reserved for those who have already rafted with us or are on their second trip. This more demanding route offers a thrilling sequence of rapids for maximum adrenaline. It’s up to you to plan your trip. Don’t forget to bring a smile – we’ll take care of the rest.
