Come and go for a walk on the legendary Sainte-Victoire at sunset, when the mountain is bathed in its most beautiful colours!
Sunset is the best time to admire the mountain as it turns pink and golden. The end of the day is also the ideal time to observe the flora, when everything becomes calmer and quieter. This late-afternoon hike is the perfect way to round off your day in the best possible way, with a walk in the cool evening air and a convivial picnic whilst watching the sunset. Experience a magical moment when the light transforms this legendary mountain and create a host of unforgettable memories.
Laura, your hiking guide, will tell you the story of the mountain and the various places you’ll pass through. There are several breaks along the route, giving you the chance to catch your breath, learn more about the history of the area and admire the stunning surrounding landscapes.
Suitable walking or trail running shoes are compulsory. Anyone wearing unsuitable footwear or who is not in good physical condition may be refused entry to the walk.
Please note! The walk takes place over rough terrain on narrow, stony mountain paths, which can be slippery in places and require the use of walking poles for those with knee problems. It is suitable for people in good physical condition and for children, provided they are used to walking on hiking trails. Bring a packed lunch, sun cream, a hat, walking poles if required, and 2 litres of water.
As the return journey takes place almost entirely at night, please also bring a torch.
