Description
Explore the history of scuba diving on a guided tour! Discover the legacy of Frédéric Dumas, one of the four "Mousquemers," through a collection of historical pieces: from the first masks to the founding inventions of the regulator.
This exceptional collection, to be discovered during a guided tour, traces the beginnings of underwater exploration through the legacy of Frédéric Dumas. A pioneer of scuba diving, he formed the famous "Mousquemers" group alongside Cousteau and Tailliez. The museum brings together major historical pieces, mainly of French origin, which bear witness to underwater technical evolution: from early hunting equipment (masks, fins, spearguns) to the revolutionary inventions that made breathing underwater possible, such as the first models of regulators and tanks.
