At the foot of the southern gateway to the Parc des Ecrins, close to the Rabioux-Durance white water sports centre and the Serre-Ponçon lake, 6 hectares of sun-drenched, exceptionally natural surroundings. The site's central location means you can visit all the exceptional sites!

I'm writing to you from the Cariamas, with my door wide open to the sun. A pretty orchard, sparkling with light, tumbles down before me to the bottom of the hill. On the horizon, the Alps and the Parc des Ecrins cut their fine ridges. No noise... Barely a sound of a jay, a nightingale, a sheep's bell on the road. All this beautiful landscape of the Hautes Alpes is alive with light
