I'm writing to you from the Cariamas, with my door wide open to the sun. A pretty orchard, sparkling with light, tumbles down before me to the bottom of the hill. On the horizon, the Alps and the Parc des Ecrins cut their fine ridges. No noise... Barely a sound of a jay, a nightingale, a sheep's bell on the road. All this beautiful landscape of the Hautes Alpes is alive with light
I feel so good in my Hautes Alpes! A warm, fragrant little corner... and so many beautiful things all around...
