In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Verdon, in the village of Quinson. Stopover Gîte, 17 people. Tourism and Handicap label for all 4 handicaps and for all rooms. Close to the owners\' lodging, two new functional houses created especially as a living area for groups or families on partly-enclosed land. 5 rooms for 2, 4 or 5 persons with shower room/toilet and a private terrace. Two rooms with self-catering kitchen. Laundry room available. Sheets and bath linen provided. Quinson 0.5 km: some shops, Museum of prehistory, Grotte de la Baume Bonne, reconstructed prehistoric village, nautical base with pedalos, canoes, fishing, mini golf, exceptional climbing site (+ 200 equipped ways), numerous hiking trails. Montmeyan 7 km: horse riding. Esparron Verdon 10 km: Lake, nautical activities, sailing. Ste Croix du Verdon 15 km. Riez 20 km: listed villages and cities of character, Roman remains, Provencal markets, all shops, Maison de l\'Abeille, crafts, olive groves. Gréoux spa establishement 23 km, fitness, casino. Moustiers Sainte Marie 30 km: City of faience, workshops, art exhibitions, the starting point of the Gorges du Verdon. Manosque 37 km: pays de Giono, theatre, museums, karting, motorway, train station.

Tips
The three-bedroom, 4-bedroom gîte (with dining room and kitchen) can be rented for €220/night excluding tourist tax, the two-bedroom gîte with kitchen for €110/night excluding tourist tax, or both gîtes for €330/night excluding tourist tax.
Aimed above all at those who prefer a gentle way of getting around, this gîte couldn't be called anything else!
L'Escargot is located on several of the "Vélo circuits" running through the Verdon Natural Park, making it an ideal stopover for cycling groups. The gîte itself is made up of 2 independent gîtes, which together can accommodate up to 17 people. With its bike room and washing station, it's the ideal place to explore the many cycle routes around the Verdon. As for hikers or those who simply want to spend a holiday with family or friends, the house with garden is a comfortable place to slow down and adopt the snail's pace.
