The hamlet of Maison Méane is located at 1,800 m above sea level, 10 minutes from the Italian border; this quiet setting is the starting point for numerous hikes.

At 1800 m, Le Chalet de Germas, close to the Col de Larche, is the last stop before the border.
Anne-Marie and Jacques have transformed an old, traditional mountain farmhouse into a comfortable gîte, with 3 guest rooms for a cosy stay in the mountains. Decorated in the chalet style, their windows open onto an exceptional Alpine panorama. For her half-board guests, Anne-Marie, a true cordon bleu, concocts delicious dishes using fresh local produce. For breakfast, her homemade jams are a delight. As for Jacques, who knows the surrounding mountains like the back of his hand, he advises guests and sometimes accompanies them on hikes, ski tours or snowshoe hikes.
