On a 39 hectares olive grove estate, with a private swimming pool (2.5x2.1x1.2m), a terrace with a garden lounge with electric plancha, sunbeds, swings and a fitness room. In the heart of the Parc Naturel de la Sainte-Baume, an olive grove, Mediterranean forest and a cliff to shelter from the mistral form the secret setting of the Gîte des Escavalins. Just 4 km from the village of Belgentier, it's like being at the other end of the world, in a corner of paradise.
After deciding to change their lives, British couple Géraldine and Mark headed south and settled here in 2004. They planted 2,000 olive trees, which today produce an excellent homemade oil. They offer a fully-equipped, tastefully furnished gîte for rent, complete with swimming pool. With sheep grazing on the estate and wild flora and fauna, the bucolic surroundings are a real delight for nature lovers.
