Owned by the Barneaud family for over 100 years, our hotel is located in the centre of Barcelonnette, close to the entertainment and outdoor activities: cycling, mountain biking, white water sports... and just 10 minutes from the ski resorts.

Housed in a former stagecoach stop in the center of Barcelonnette, the Cheval Blanc hotel is the town's oldest establishment. Although it's no longer used for horseback riding, it continues to open its doors to visitors all year round. For 4 generations, the Barneaud family has run this simple, friendly hotel. Renovated and modernized, it remains a privileged stopover on the road to winter sports, white-water sports and all outdoor activities. Close to the resorts of Le Sauze, Pra-Loup and Sainte Anne-Condamine, as well as to the Serre-Ponçon lake and the spots and trails of the Ubaye, the Cheval Blanc is at the heart of a vast playground: the marvellous Ubaye Valley, adored by all mountain lovers.
