Description

Just a few steps from the amphitheater, De natura rerum is a leading bookstore specializing in antiquity, featuring a gallery space and a selection of fine regional wines, all in a setting steeped in history and humanity.
De natura rerum is a leading bookstore with over 5,000 titles, specializing in antiquity in the broadest sense—from Mesopotamia to the Gauls, including the Greek, Roman, and biblical worlds—covering literature, history, mythology, religion, daily life, cuisine, fiction, and children’s books... A substantial section on Arles, the Camargue, and Provence (history and traditions), as well as Provençal literature. An original selection of organic beers, ancient wines, meads, natural wines, and regional spirits (natural gnôles, whiskeys, rums, brandies...). A year-round exhibition space featuring photographs and other works related to antiquity. Meet-and-greets with authors and researchers every Saturday, as well as other events and collaborations. Jewelry inspired by antiquity, crafted by Taberna Anticae Arelatensis.
