Description
Stretching, bodybuilding, dance, and fitness classes that emphasize mental and physical fitness can be taken at home or through Zoom remote learning.
At EviDance, I teach group classes at community centers and dance schools on a weekly or occasional basis, and I also offer private lessons at students’ homes.
I offer a variety of classes, including: Street Jazz (for ages 12 and up), Street Girly (for ages 16 and up), ContempoFusion (for ages 12 and up), Contemporary (for ages 8 and up), Floor Barre (for ages 12 and up), Strength Training (for ages 12 and up), Flexibility (for ages 8 and up), Improvisation (for ages 8 and up), Fitness (for ages 50–60 and up), Dancer Conditioning (for ages 12 and up), and Introduction to Dance (for ages 4 and up, in-person only).
My goal, through these private lessons, is to help people regain their confidence, get back in shape, and feel good about themselves—all through the medium of dance, in an environment marked by kindness, hard work, and humor. Indeed, I place great emphasis on technique, artistry, and the “physical” aspects of dance, but also on the human connection that comes from sharing this athletic art form.
The classes offered can also accommodate the needs of people with physical and/or mental disabilities, helping to introduce those who are interested to the art of dance.
After an initial meeting to get to know each other and build trust, I will then come to the student’s home for the lesson(s). You can choose to take individual lessons or purchase packages of 5 or 10 lessons, or opt for a weekly plan.
