Located just a step away from the Fort, the cheese dairy of Château-Queyras reveals you the culinary treasures of its store all year long and makes you discover a wide range of organic and traditional cheeses resulting from our mountain milk. This artisanal production is representative of an ancestral human know-how and of a high quality, linked to the system of pastoralism. Gourmet, gourmet, to you the soft and unctuous pasta, our Bleu du Queyras in the course of certification A.O.P., our Viso or our raclette Estoilie are all to be tasted... or to melt (of pleasure!). The cheese dairy is open all year round, for the greatest happiness of all, For the gourmets who are geographically far away, it offers mail order via the website. Visits are possible: Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 am, for groups and classes Tuesday and Friday at 9:30 am, for individuals - min 5 pers, max 25 pers On reservation.

La Fromagerie de Château-Queyras is a must-visit address appreciated for its wide range of organic and traditional cheeses. The store features all the soft, creamy cheeses of the region, including the famous Bleu du Queyras, Viso and Estoilie raclette. But gourmet shopping isn't the only thing on offer. The cooperative brings together dairy producers from the Queyras Regional Nature Park, all of whom are keen to preserve mountain agriculture and its traditional know-how.
