Within the walls of Fort Queyras, a new tavern has arrived: stone and character for a new place simply called the Taverne du Fort.

It gives this stone place a different presence: that of a space where you can stop, discover and indulge in artisanal beverages: beers and lemonade from the Queyrassine brewery, syrups and infusions from Le Plantivore, apple juice picked in the Queyras and organic coffee with its Queyras croquette. Behind this tavern is an association. The Friends of Fort Queyras run the place, and every purchase contributes directly to bringing the fort to life: events, projects, new ways of living in it. Here, heritage isn't just something to look at, it's something to support.
