Welcome to Les Tourneries de l'Écureuil, located in Seyne, in a picturesque rural setting in the mountains. Come and discover traditional crafts with our expert woodturner. Immerse yourself in local craftsmanship and take home unique souvenirs of your stay. Please note that our establishment is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Enjoy this authentic and enriching experience during your next getaway in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Wood is a living, noble material, and I love to reveal its beauty and elegance through woodturning. Choice of woods: larch, oak, walnut, beech, ash, juniper, pear, apple, cherry, maple and black locust are all woods I source locally. I create series of bowls, cups and plates, but each piece remains unique. The tableware is turned from ash, ash-olive and beech wood sourced from sustainably managed forests or fruit trees of known origin. I treat them exclusively with hemp oil and organic sunflower oil. I do not use any glue.
