Lokito is rolling out 100% solar-powered, self-contained smart lockers that offer two services right on the beach: secure storage for personal belongings and rental of recreational equipment.

Lokito deploys 100% solar-powered, autonomous smart lockers that offer two services right on the beach: secure storage for personal belongings and rental of recreational equipment.
What are these lockers used for?
The goal is to make life easier for vacationers and Cassidains. They can safely leave their belongings there while swimming, or rent equipment right on the spot.
Rental Service: The rate is €0.99/hour, and the following items are available:
• Beach toys for children
• Swim boards
• Pétanque balls.
Lockers Service: Rates are:
• €0.80/hour for a small locker
• €0.99/hour for a large locker
How does it work? Right on the locker screen:
1. The user selects their service (Rental or Locker) directly on the locker’s touchscreen.
2. Payment is made by credit card at the terminal.
3. The locker unlocks instantly.
4. At the end of the day, the user retrieves their belongings (or returns the equipment) and ends their session on the screen.
5. Billing is based on the time the service is used
