A different way of hiking, closer to nature with TisʼÂnes
From dream to reality! In the company of our long ears dive into total immersion in contact with the flora and fauna of our mountains on the south side.
Set off on a journey following in the footsteps of the transhumance herds and pedlars of yesteryear through breathtaking landscapes, or simply go exploring to spot marmots, ibex and the flora of the Blanche, Bès and Ubaye valleys.
“The donkey is the key that opens the doors to the local people; the donkey is the key to your holiday!”
It’s an original way to rediscover simple pleasures and create unforgettable memories. You can either plan your own route or opt for a tour organised by us (itineraries, bookings, provisions).
You can camp in the wild or on a farm, or stay overnight in a gîte or guesthouse. Routes lasting from one to several days will allow you to explore our magnificent region, with its mountains, valleys and ancient sheep tracks, enabling you to discover a landscape of a thousand facets and meet the locals who will tell you about their lives and the history of their mountains. Saddlebags and technical information sheets are provided.
The donkey carries the luggage of 2 to 3 people, totalling a load of 30 to 40 kg.
