A creative workshop specialising in home fragrances. Limited-edition and bespoke creations, including candles, diffusers and room sprays.
A nod to Romain Lauwerier’s roots, Vuur means fire in Flemish – a concept centred on relaxation and conviviality, embodied in the simplicity of a candle: a wonderful adventure that began in 2020!
Since then, he has been happily developing his own world and honing his craft as a self-taught, niche home fragrance creator. With the changing seasons, he composes limited-edition scents blending food and woody notes: surprising combinations that have become his signature, which he likes to call his olfactory cuisine of fine ingredients!
Each creation is crafted by him into diffusers and candles, using raw materials that are safe for you and the environment, housed in unmarked laboratory glassware: a conceptual choice of minimalist-designed containers, much like his solid diffuser in a Petri dish, which has become a registered flagship creation!
Romain Lauwerier also offers this holistic approach on a bespoke basis to explore new realms: wonderful collaborations bringing olfactory signatures to life for unique venues, creative brands, or your home!
Previously, his early career took him to Paris to study and work in new technologies for over 10 years before settling with his partner in Provence, where she grew up, and more specifically right by the sea under the sun of La Ciotat, where their family has since grown!
A perfectly timed opportunity then enabled them to open their Studio Quel Pot! boutique-workshop as a couple, right in the heart of the historic city centre, where they offer a warm, lively and colourful interior design that brings together their passions: fragrances, plants and interior paints from the Ressource brand!
They look forward to welcoming you there with Marine, Jasper and Gaston!
