My homemade face cream from the land of lavender!

Maël from the distillery Aroma’Plantes, in Sault, opens the doors of his laboratory for a video tutorial: his recipe of homemade lavender face cream. Enjoy !

Ingredients for your homemade face cream:

36 g Damask rose water
9.25 g musk rose oil
0.6 g cocoa butter
0.6 g preservative
2.5 g emulsifier
0.15 g guar flour
1 drop lavender maillette essential oil
2 drops bergamot essential oil

Recipe

Weigh the emulsifier and cocoa butter then place in bowl nr. 1
Weigh the guar flour then add to bowl nr. 1
Add the musk rose oil to the preparation
Pour the Damask rose oil into bowl nr. 2
Weigh the preservative and add to bowl nr. 2
Place bowls 1 and 2 in a bain-marie (65°C or hotter)
Pour the contents of bowl nr. 2 into bowl nr. 1
Mix well to obtain a smooth mixture (2 minutes approx)
Place the bowl in a cool bain-marie (under 40°C) and continue to mix
Once cool, add 2 drops of bergamot essential oil and 1 drop of lavender maillette essential oil, then mix well
