Departing from Orpierre, explore the cultural and natural heritage of the Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales. From the ruins of the Château de Villevieille to the village of Le Vieil Eyguians – via the Roman Bridge in the Gorges de la Méouge and its breathtaking landscapes – lovers of nature and heritage will have their fill. For more athletic types, this holiday package includes 3 outings of 40 to 50 kilometres for a daily descent of 900 to 1,400 metres. Your route combines rocky paths, ridge trails and crossing through the undergrowth. A state-certified guide will be monitoring you and will adjust the route to your desires, as well as your stamina. A bespoke holiday in Provence-Alpes

Heads up all you sports cyclists! The Provence-Alpes tourist office offers you a half-board bike holiday in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. On the agenda for this quick vacation, three days of biking stages that range between 105 and 154 kilometres. The advantage? Two options of routes are on offer to reach the same finishing point for each of your outings. The first stage is gentle, leaving from Château-Arnoux to Auzet. On the way, you’ll ride along the Lac de Serre-Ponçon and admire its turquoise waters overlooked by the mountains. On the second day, increase the pace and go over four passes, including a first-class one. The finish is at Moustiers Sainte-Marie, a pretty village nestled between two cliffs and classed among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France.” On the last day, the climb of the Col de Lure with its very contrasting terrain will leave you with lasting memories. Good to know: luggage transfers are included, and the holiday includes half-board (copious breakfasts and dinners fit for athletes) and two overnight stays based on twin rooms for 2 to 15 people (April to November).
