Description

Chapel of the White Penitents in the center of the village of St. Dalmas Valdeblore
Within the village of St. Dalmas, not far from the West Gate, the Chapel of the Penitents, built in 1659, resembles a dwelling, particularly due to the absence of a bell tower. This chapel features a “Descent from the Cross,” a Way of the Cross, and a fresco depicting the Tree of Life adorning the ceiling. A Mass is celebrated there on every St. Joseph’s Day.
