This fine Romanesque church tower stands isolated in a meadow, since the waters of La Guerche torrent carried away its church.
This fine example of architecture of Lombard influence is characteristic of mediaeval church towers throughout the Alpine Arc. Built in the mid-12th century, it has three levels for bells with apertures. The upper levels are gemelled with colonnettes decorated with capitals sculpted with anthropomorphic and plant motifs.
