Description
Eco Museum traversing the economic and human agricultural history of the Hautes-Alpes from 1790 to 1950. 6 themes to discover. Peasant workshops, clog, blacksmith, wheelwright, mechanical energy. Choose two themes for your guided tour.
Two themes per "educational" guided tour are proposed, themes to be chosen from 1 to 6, below:
1. Agricultural tools close to men and animals from 1790 to 1950 in the Hautes-Alpes.
2. The clog maker's workshop in operation, in the 1930's (clog demo. 5 € instead of 20 €).
3. Presentation of a workshop and the trade of wheelwright.
4. Mechanical energy in the Hautes-Alpes from 1860/1940 and the heart of diesel engines from 1945 to 1970.
5. The forge with a sledgehammer, a spring hammer, an auto-compressor in operation, cutlery, the different stages of the manufacture of a blade.
6. The sawmill, demonstration of the sawing of a log with a beating saw of 1930 in operation.
