Eat organic! Sale of vegetables, fruit, eggs and other jams and farm produce.
Objective: To raise children’s awareness of and sense of responsibility toward their environment through observing plants and domestic animals.
Activities: Exploring the rural world and farm work: caring for animals, tending the vegetable garden, and gardening.
Topics covered: how living things adapt to their environment, the interdependence of living things, the milk production process, etc.
Audience: kindergarten (older classes), elementary schools, and recreation centers. Free admission (transportation costs are the responsibility of visitors), by appointment only (registration at the end of the school year for the following year, or no later than the very beginning of the year). Half-day or full-day sessions, as a one-time visit or as part of an ongoing program.
On Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., farm products are on sale at the Plaine Market (Place Jean Jaurès in downtown).
