This room, former bakery of the castle of Gaspard de Perrinet (lord of Laragne in the XVIIth century) shelters many exhibitions in its superb vaulted cellars, which will cool you during hot weather!
The visit allows you to enjoy some exhibitions of contemporary artists but also allows you to discover the history of the town of Laragne-Montéglin and its castle: the only castle of the Hautes-Alpes raised in full in the first half from the 17th century. The castle is listed on the additional inventory of historic buildings since 1996. The museum is located a few meters from the Tourist Information Centre. The fig tree garden has been laid out with benches to enjoy a relaxing break.
