The MAMAC offers a journey through art, from the 1950s to today. Its collection is rich of more than 1370 works! Mainly centered around European New Realism, the American expression of assemblage art and Pop Art, it has also opened up to key works of minimal art and Arte Povera. Two major figures form the core of its collections: Yves Klein, initiator of the "monochrome adventure", and the artist Niki de Saint Phalle, known for her colorful silhouettes with generous curves.
