Parc du Béal

This is an urban park that runs along the Jean Natte Canal and showcases the area’s architectural heritage and Mediterranean plant life. The most beautiful section of the Jean Natte Canal, dating from the 15th century, can still be seen on Jean Natte Street. At the end of this pedestrian walkway, gates open onto this fabulous garden where children are king. Numerous Mediterranean plant species adorn the botanical areas, interspersed with synthetic turf that combines comfort and safety in the various play areas. The park is organized around distinct spaces and facilities, connected by a network of walking paths: numerous playground structures suitable for all ages, a multi-sport field, two bocce courts, an aviary, an animal enclosure, a plant maze, fountains and water features, and more. The park also features a refreshment and dining area. Due to preparations for these festivities, Parc du Béal will be closed on Saturday, August 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Park 1 and from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for Park 2.
