Description

On Place Clemenceau, the Town Hall, inaugurated in 1911, has partly taken the place of the former Episcopal Palace.
All that remains of the former bishop's palace is the oldest part, the arcaded building that closes off the north square, and the tower known as the Saint Lambert tower. The ‘Vençoise’, a sculpture that adorns the centre of the square, is the work of Canadian artist Jim Ritchie.
