Description
The main square in the city of Toulon, located in the Upper Town.
Created in 1858, on the initiative of the Ministry of War, this large square (117m long and 120m wide) was the "Centre du Toulon Moderne" and is located on boulevard de Strasbourg. This square is a symbolic place not only for Toulon, but also for the entire agglomeration. Most bus routes converge here, and the Liberté bus stop is the main transfer point for the Mistral urban network.
