Within the village of St. Dalmas, not far from the West Gate, the Chapel of the Penitents, built in 1659, resembles a dwelling, particularly due to the absence of a bell tower.
This chapel features a “Descent from the Cross,” a Way of the Cross, and a fresco depicting the Tree of Life adorning the ceiling.
A Mass is celebrated there on every St. Joseph’s Day.
