  • Marble, stained glass, coats of arms, French statuary… The Château de Tallard (14th-16th century) is one of the most notable fortified buildings from the medieval period in the Hautes-Alpes. Its walls, flanked by circular towers, enclose a huge inner courtyard, a late Gothic chapel, a guardhouse, and the feudal lord’s residence. Guided tours from the beginning of July to mid-September. Exhibitions and shows in summer. Group tours available all year round, booking required.
