The V. van Gogh Foundation is dedicated to promoting his artistic legacy by questioning the resonance of his work in art. Placing his paintings in perspective with the work of contemporary artists will reveal a fertile dialogue.
As a link between past and present, the Van Gogh Foundation pays tribute to the work of the Dutch master, a key artistic figure in Provence, and explores his impact on current creation. Comparing Vincent Van Gogh's paintings with the work of contemporary artists creates a dialogue between two eras and shared universes of turmoil and intense colors. In the heart of Arles, where the virtuoso created his greatest masterpieces, the Foundation imposes its open and ultra-contemporary architecture, a tribute to the Provencal light that Van Gogh loved so much.
