Fresh air and 300 days of sunshine a year: we're in Saint-Véran, a village in the Queyras region at an altitude of 2040m. It's an ideal location for the Maison du Soleil, a museum dedicated to bringing the sun to a wider public.
Thanks to a coelostat and a spectrograph, the rays captured on the terrace are reflected by a set of mirrors or projected inside the museum. This allows visitors to observe the solar disk, its spots and eruptions. Numerous installations, such as the immersive and interactive projection area, add a playful touch to the scientific approach.
