The museum retraces life in the Marseille regions from th e 18 th to the 19 th century: furniture, costumes and objects recreating the traditional way of life in Provence.The collections of religious art, nativity scenes and santons evoke festivals and customs.
An agrarian room presents " the evocation of crops in the Marseille region with scenes referring to harvests, grape harvest and olives picking.

The tour is guided by baptistin, born of the museum's collaboration with polytech Marseille, the engineering school of Aix-Marseille University based in the technology centre.
