Anaïs, a local guide, will be with you every morning in August (except Saturdays) for a walk along the water in the Eygalières countryside!
Set off from the heart of the village, following the course of the water, on a complete and contrasting itinerary that joins the aromatic garrigue...
Anaïs, a local guide and lecturer from Eygaliéro, will show you around the Old Village, the olive groves, the Canal des Alpines, the ancient wash-house, the Silex trail and the Baumo Sourno cave. A panoramic view of the crests of the Alpilles will round off this superb outing.
Every morning in August - except Saturdays - from 9am to 12pm
Meeting point: Car park des Écoles, avenue Léon Blum
Duration: 3 hours
Distance: approx. 4km
Level: easy then medium
Public: all ages (no knee problems), children aged 6 and over, pets allowed on lead
Equipment required: suitable trainers or walking shoes, 1.5 litres of water per person, 1 hat, 1 rucksack to keep hands free, walking sticks (not compulsory).
Due to regulations governing access to the massifs, the route may be modified on days when driving in the Alpilles massif is prohibited.
Bookings must be made with Anaïs or at the Tourist Information Office in Eygalières.
Reservations can be made up to 5.30pm on the day before the office closes.
