A bourgeois building. In a cellar, a man is found dead, murdered. Commissioner Lucas is in charge of the investigation. The last one before his retirement. Everything will be played out in the top floor apartment of the extraordinary Madame "Dany". One by one, the characters will weave the invisible threads of the case. The commissioner will discover that several occupants of the place had a direct link with the victim and that some of them already seem to know each other. The enigma becomes more complicated and difficult for the investigator who will have to face tough, eccentric, Machiavellian and opportunistic people who will not spare him.
